How I got rid of H. Pylori

Earlier last year, when I was working in a Gym Kids club, I got infected with H. Pylori. Following is my journey through the process of diagnosis and healing myself in natural ways instead of antibiotic usage. Initially I started to feel a mild stomach pain, which comes and goes on and off. I was planning on visiting a doctor but the appointments were hard to get. I started to diagnose myself. I fasted for a day and realized there is no pain. Then on consuming food, the pain is more when the food is more. Furthermore, I realized the pain started after 45 minutes of eating. On extensive research, I found out that the timing makes it a duodenal ulcer and it is mostly caused by H. Pylori bacteria. It took 10 days to get an appointment and forcefully getting the doctor to test for H. Pylori which was positive. I was prepared with a plan to combat H. Pylori having decided not to take the proton pump inhibitors or the antibiotics which the doctors suggest which may or may not work always...

Juice vs Coffee

If you’re looking to give up coffee this year, we highly recommend giving our juice-a-day trick a try. While you won’t feel that instant coffee buzz, you will be energized and properly fueled to kick start your day on a healthy note. Juicing gives you a mega dose of antioxidants – these are the soldiers of your body. They neutralize the “free radicals” that are damaging to your cells and cause cancer. Raw juicing in the morning provides us with the nutrients and vitamins in one serving that we normally should get throughout the day. Instead of worrying about what fruits and vegetables we are going to ingest at lunchtime and later at dinner, we can drink them all in one sitting. This leads to providing us with anti-aging affects and the ability to boost our immune system

Flush out toxins with Vitamin C

Vitamin C has amazing benefits and it is said that there is no toxin in the body which cannot be neutralized by Vitamin C.  Dr. Andrew Saul ( http://www.doctoryourself.com/ ) suggests megadoses of Vitamin C for almost every disease, cold, flu, etc. Benefits of Vitamin C Protection against excess free radicals Collagen production Brain Health Growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body Cancer Killing Promise ( http://phys.org/news/2005-09-vitamin-cancer-killing.html ) ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4238250.stm ) Who can do Vitamin C flush? Almost anyone can do Vitamin C flush. Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin and if taken in excess, it just comes out of your body through urine. The body does not store it. The symptom you notice when you take excess Vitamin C is mild diarrhea. That is the cue to stop taking more of Vitamin C. This flush is not recommended to be done more than 4 times per year. It can be considered as a self test to see how m...

Healthier School Snack Options

My kids school provides snacks and though they are healthier than many options are still not as healthy as they seem. So even though we have totally given up on processed foods, and do not buy much anymore, I researched a bit to find out some healthy snack alternatives to kids. Here is the list I came up with for nut-free healthy snack options. I intend to talk to the school to see if they can switch to the following healthier alternatives instead and I urge all of you do the same for your kids. Hope for Peanuts

Peanuts are one of our favorite and are so tasty. We can eat them in a variety of ways and cannot imagine life without them.  Soak peanuts overnight and pressure cook them with salt. (discard water) Roast peanuts and can be eaten straight peanut butter with a hint of honey dip/chutney with green chili and tamarind and curry leaves, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, salt.  coarsely chop and add to curries for that extra crunch. They do have a lot of health benefits too. The shock came to me when I realized peanuts are very susceptible to mold which can result in a number of diseases.  The mold creates a toxin - aflatoxin which can cause serious liver damage. The intensity of the issue is so high that many holistic coaches just stay away from peanuts and peanut butter just to be safe.  However I could not give up on peanuts. I decided to dig deeper.  Produced by the mold  Aspergillus flavus,  aflatoxin can occur in nuts, legumes, see...

Alzhiemer's Diet Plan

I wish I had the current knowledge when my Dad's Alzheimer's condition was diagnosed and he still knows what he is doing. Unfortunately, we had to see through his degeneration. My dad is my role model and he would have loved eating all the healthy diet and lifestyle Without my Dad's support now I realize there is something that can be done to stop or reverse alzheimer's which doctors will not agree. Not until I healed my issues did I trust the alternative treatments. This is the diet plan I prepared for my Dad who is now in Advanced Stage Alzheimer's. I hope the caregiver - my mom or sisters will be able to keep up with this schedule. Diet should be rich in fats and low in carbs. Make any changes gradually except for some known stuff. To add coconut oil into daily routine start with 1/2 tsp to 2 tsp morning and evening and watch our for symptoms. Tablets to be taken daily: Multivitamin Plant Based and contains Minerals with food Fermented Cod Liver Oil...
