Flush out toxins with Vitamin C

Vitamin C has amazing benefits and it is said that there is no toxin in the body which cannot be neutralized by Vitamin C.  Dr. Andrew Saul (http://www.doctoryourself.com/) suggests megadoses of Vitamin C for almost every disease, cold, flu, etc.

Benefits of Vitamin C
Protection against excess free radicals
Collagen production
Brain Health
Growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body

Who can do Vitamin C flush?
Almost anyone can do Vitamin C flush. Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin and if taken in excess, it just comes out of your body through urine. The body does not store it. The symptom you notice when you take excess Vitamin C is mild diarrhea. That is the cue to stop taking more of Vitamin C. This flush is not recommended to be done more than 4 times per year. It can be considered as a self test to see how many toxins are in your body. The more Vitamin C you need, the more toxins are in your body.

After I am sufficiently convinced that I should be doing a Vitamin C flush, I started researching for the right procedure.

Procedure
You need to start in the morning and not eat any food until the flush is complete. Drink lots of water. Keep at least 4 hours time for yourself when you start this procedure.

Based not the health of each individual, the quantity of Vitamin C is determined. A healthy individual may take less, a moderately healthy person can take 1500 milligrams, I took 4000 milligrams (1 tsp of Nutribiotic Sodium Ascorbate Powder).

Use a timer, book and pen nearby, to keep track and record your quantity of Vitamin C ingested. Note down the time and the number of milligrams ingested.

If after 4 servings or 1 hour, if you do not feel any uneasiness in the gut or rumbling sounds, double the dose.

Do not stop at a loose stool or diarrhea. What you need is clear plasma like liquid which is called lymphatic fluid being flushed out. You want to be sure it is clear plasma like liquid, as this flush can be done only 4 times a year and you want to be extra sure how much Vitamin C you need. There is no harm in taking extra Vitamin C. It is a water soluble Vitamin and is flushed out by the body via urine if it exceeds the required limit.

Record the quantity ingested to calculate how much Vitamin C you need to take daily until you reach normal levels. Total number of Milligrams * 0.75 is the quantity of Vitamin C you would be taking daily in 3 divided doses.

When you keep taking Vitamin C, if you experience loose stools or diarrhea, decrease the Vitamin C intake. Once you reach sufficiently normal levels, convert to a real food natural source of Vitamin C (http://www.radiantlifecatalog.com/product/pure-radiance-c/superfoods-supplements) to take daily.

After the flush, eat plain yoghurt for probiotics (good bacteria) in the gut. Since you are depleted of all electrolytes, load up on them. Eat bananas, dates, himalayan pink salt and water.

Congratulations! Vitamin C Flush is done.

Which Vitamin C powder to use?
This is the only product I feel can be taken synthetic and not a real food source. Getting megadoses of Vitamin C from real food source is not that easy. Follow the protocol until your body requires normal amounts of Vitamin C and then switch to a natural real food source Vitamin C powder (http://www.radiantlifecatalog.com/product/pure-radiance-c/superfoods-supplements)

(1) I bought Nutribiotic Sodium Ascorbate Cystalline Powder (http://www.iherb.com/NutriBiotic-Sodium-Ascorbate-Crystalline-Powder-16-oz-454-g/10178) on recommendation of Dr. Suzanne Humphries (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0LLX0sgwAU) She suggests not to use Calcium Ascorbate.
(2) After researching a bit, I think this(http://www.amazon.com/Perque-Potent-Guard-Powder-16/dp/B001IAJXTA ) one is better. Getting more minerals made more sense than loading up on Sodium. It was suggested by Raymond Francis who wrote “Never be sick again"
Further Vitamin C powders suggested in other sites (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw81tbSpS7Q), more research needs to be done on the below:
(3) Beyond Health Vitamin C Buffered Powder
(4) Life Extension Buffered Vitamin C Powder
(5) Vitamin C2 is advisable to be consumed with Vitamin C. http://www.lifepriority.com/Vitamin-C2-p/lp38.htm

Process Summary
Start in the morning on an empty stomach.Eat nothing, drink lots of water.
Consume 1 tsp (or whatever quantity you decided), every 15 minutes. Use timer.
If you do not feel any rumblings or gas after an hour, double the dose and continue.
Do not stop at a loose stool or diarrhea. You need clear liquid being flushed out like an enema flush.
Can take a little more just to be safe or stop after you flush out the lymphatic fluid (clear liquid).
Calculate your daily Vitamin C quantity = (total * 0.75) / 3. Take it 3 times a day, until you have loose stools.
After the flush consume plain yoghurt, bananas, dates, himalayan pink salt and water.

Risks involved
If you have any IBS, gut related issues, or chronic issues consult your physician on how to do a Vitamin C flush. You might have to gradually increase the dosage.
There is no harm in taking extra Vitamin C. It is a water soluble Vitamin and is flushed out by the body via urine if it exceeds the required limit. It may be a bit taxing on the body, but it is not done daily. Never do more than 4 flushes per year.

For Cold/Flu/Viral Fever or Immunity Boosting Remedies
If any of the family member is getting sick due to cold, flu or fever, immediately give them natural Vitamin C an approximate of 2000 mgs every 2 hours.
This is pretty safe and I gave it to my LO to a dosage of 6000 mgs for her viral fever. Vitamin C should not be used in conjunction(XX) with Tylenol or Ibuprofin or Acetomicin. It keeps them in blood for a long time(XX reference). Use your discretion when using. When my LO had fever, and it is quickly raising, I used Tylenol, and after 2 days of using Tylenol, once I realized, the temperature is stable, started her on Vitamin C megadoses.  I have decided to stop taking Flu shots and use Vitamin C therapy for any issues.

Protein Power Balls

One of the most healthy and filling snacks is the Protein Power Balls. These are almost instant and easy to make and all natural. They contain amazing nutrition benefits with healthy fats and protein. I prefer the following seeds in the preparation of these balls: Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds  Sprouted Sunflower Seeds Hemp Seeds Overnight soaked, slow roasted sesame seeds  Why I do not use nuts? Since they contain phytic acid, and it is not good to eat raw nuts. It is better to soak nuts overnight before eating them. Why I use sprouted seeds? Even seeds have phytic acid, sprouting makes the nutrients in the seeds more bioavailable and easy to digest.  Why did I use raw Hemp seeds? Since hemp is the most easily digestible seeds and does not need soaking. Why did I soak overnight and slow roast sesame seeds? For any other seeds, this is the process I follow apart from the above three. It is just an example. I get the organic sprouted pumpkin and sunflow...
