My kids school provides snacks and though they are healthier than many options are still not as healthy as they seem. So even though we have totally given up on processed foods, and do not buy much anymore, I researched a bit to find out some healthy snack alternatives to kids. Here is the list I came up with for nut-free healthy snack options. I intend to talk to the school to see if they can switch to the following healthier alternatives instead and I urge all of you do the same for your kids.
